The idea for PathMotion came when the company’s founders made their first career moves after speaking to an “Insider”—an existing employee at the organisation who could give them the unfiltered truth.
Realising that these interactions were priceless, they asked themselves, “how can all job seekers access authentic stories—which are far more persuasive than facts or rankings—directly from Insider employees?”
Thus, the PathMotion platform was born and the two Insiders who, back then, made the difference in their career decisions, became PathMotion’s seed investors.
Today PathMotion is an online discussion platform that connects job candidates directly to real employees via the company’s career website. PathMotion lets today’s digitally savvy job seekers find the content they truly want by allowing employee advocates to share their personal stories. This is executed through online discussions, live chat events, video content and social media integrations, which improves the employer brand and accelerates talent acquisition and recruiting.
Organisations like Air France, Deloitte, Post Office, AXA, the NHS, Citi and more choose PathMotion to increase their qualified applicants by over 200% and improve their job offer acceptance rate by 65%.

MEET THE FOUNDERS
Alon Laniado, co-founder of PathMotion, has over 10 years of online recruitment experience. Before starting PathMotion, he previously worked as a senior advisor on employment policy at HM Treasury, leading on developing back-to-work employment schemes. Prior, he held roles at Bain & Company and Eternity Capital where he advised business strategy and led private equity transaction in a range of business services companies.
He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of London, an M.Sc. degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University.
David Rivel, co-founder of PathMotion, has over 15 years of experience in expanding fast growing and dynamic technology start-ups, as well as in various roles at small and large organisations across Europe, the US and Mexico. Prior to co-founding PathMotion, David was a management consultant with The Boston Consulting Group. He also held positions at HRG Belgium and worked with the financial arm of GE across Europe and North America.
David holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD.
